1. All District Heads of Departments to submit their 2014 Draft Time managements and budgets to either Elder A Makasalo, Elder P Sililo or Elder A.C Ntomba before 5th November 2014.
2. This is to remind all Church Treasurers to submit the bank deposit slips to the District Treasurer whenever you deposit money in the District Account so that you obtain a receipt. Further ensure that you submit your weekly yellow sheets in time.
3. There will be an AMO outing to Kalimba Farm on 24th November 2013. Each participant to pay K60.00. All AMO members are urged to pay and go for socialization.
4. Today Sabbath 19th October 2013 is Adventurers day in all Churches. Parents are urged to support the programme.
5. There will be an Adventurers fun day tomorrow Sunday 20th October 2013 at Dream Valley from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs. Charges are K35.00 per participant and all to carry packed lunch. The meeting place for departure will Mtendere Main at 08:00hrs. NOTE all Pathfinders are welcome.
6. All Church members are urged to attend the LEMD Grand Music Reunion which will be held this coming Thursday 24th October 2013 at Mtendere Main Church. Let us celebrate our independence by praising our God in Hymns and Psalms.
7. Elder and Youth leaders are urged to continue promoting the Pathfinder Camporee which will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00. Please take note of the details that were attached to last week’s announcements; and the deadlines specified. For those wishing to have their registration deducted from the office, kindly pass through our Departmental office and log into the 2014 SID Camporee registration fee deduction authorization sheet.

9. There will be a Women Ministries seminar on Entrepreneurship on 3rd November 2013. The Women Ministries Leader and four other members from our District should attend. The details of the participants should be submitted to Mrs Mutumba on 0978956138 at Lusaka Conference offices as soon as possible
10. The District should submit the names of the Children Ministries Leaders and 5 other members who will attend the children camp meeting to be held in December 2013. These names should be submitted to Mrs Mutumba. In your submission include also the sum of K150.00 for registration and insurance purposes

There will be a Dorcas meeting for all Zone, District Federation and local Church executives tomorrow Sunday 13th of October 2013 at Libala SDA Church starting at 09:00hrs. All the above mentioned to attend without fail.
Today Sabbath 12th October, 2013 is Spirit of Prophecy day in all Churches.
There will be a Youth Music fellowship tomorrow Sunday 13th October 2013 at Mtendere Main Church starting from 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs. All Youth choirs to come without fail. The participation fee is K 100.00 per choir and to be paid by 12th October 2013.
Next Sabbath 19th October 2013 will be Adventurers day in all Churches. Therefore all local Church Adventurers Directors are advised to arrange for their own preachers.

We may not have any gift to give you but the Lord Himself will reward you.
The District pastor is away in Kaoma conducting a crusade for 3 weeks up to the 27th of October 2012.

1. There will be An AMO council meeting on Sunday 6th of October 2013 at Mtendere Main starting at 09:00hrs. All AMO members to attend without fail.
2. There will be a spirit of prophecy day on Sabbath 12th October, 2013 in all Churches. Local Church SOP Leaders are to prepare and conduct programs on this day from morning to sunset on the same day. This is your grand opportunity to promote SOP.

1. There will be Zone One Dorcas Elections on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Libala SDA Church from 09:00hrs to 12:00hrs. These elections will divide the big Zone One into two – Zone One A and Zone One B. All Dorcas society members should attend without fail.
2. All Lusaka East Mission singing groups should begin to prepare for the inter district Music rotation with Kanyama Mission on the 2nd of November 2013. Remember you are also expected to go with your own speakers.

NOTE: The Sabbath countings for both the Sabbath School and main service for the 2nd and 7th Sabbath reports should be send together with the rest of the reports since no church has so far sent them.

It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00. Churches can approve individuals who want to join literature Ministries and send the names to Sister Brenda Kangololo the District Leader.

Members are being advised to invite people and attend the crusade and be also informed that there will be a baptism on the 27th of July 2013.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church considers reporting as a serious matter and Secretariat has attached a copy of Lusaka Conference quarterly report checklist for each church to print and ensure that at the end of every quarter each Church submits all the reports where there is a tick in the checklist. All reports should be made on Lusaka Conference report forms and do not get any CZC report forms and then type and print your copy because some Lusaka Conference report forms have some difference with the former CZC. The office of the Pastor will not accept any excuse from any Church or District departmental Head for not reporting correctly.
9. The Lusaka Conference family evangelism launch takes place on Sabbath 20th July 2013 at Andrews’s motel from 08 – 16hrs. We hope each Church paid for the family life Leader and the Elder in charge to represent them.
10. The Muluse Zone Camp meeting Council meeting will take place on Sunday the 28th July 2013 at Muluse starting at 08:00hrs. All Admin and Elders in charge, District Camp meeting Chairpersons and Zone subcommittee Camp meeting members to attend without fail.

3. The General Conference has requested us to audit our church membership. All churches should do serious roll calls this June. At the end of this quarter June 30th 2013 we need two figures of membership per church. One which will reflect before roll call; and this is the one to be put on regular statistical report, another, an audited one showing only physically present members. We want to assess the disparity. This information should be forwarded to the Secretariat on Sabbath 13/07/13 by 17:00hrs without fail.

- The Sabbath School and personal ministries evaluation will take place on 30th June 2013. All evaluation papers to be in the office of the Director by 20th June 2013. Note: The district secretariat distributed to all churches through the elders the PM and Sabbath School evaluation instruments and hopes that the elders submitted them by the required date mentioned above.
- There will be Trust Services day on 29th June 2013 in all churches.
- The dates for the AMO rally are 27th June to 2nd July 2013 and not 23rd to 29th June 2013 as earlier announced. All AMO members are therefore urged to attend as this shall be during the four (4) days holiday.
- The zone one (1) Dorcas rally shall take place from the 30th of June 2013 to 7th July 2013 at Chalimbana. All Dorcas members are urged to attend.
- The District departmental Councils which were scheduled to take place on Sunday 23rd June 2013 shall now take place on Friday 28th June 2013 at M’tendere main starting at 08:30hrs. Please elders ensure that your members attend the councils and all reports should be handed over to the district PM by Tuesday 25th June 2013.
- The CPC and District Council scheduled for 30th June 2013 has been moved to Sunday the 7th of July 2013, to be held at Kalingalinga Church starting at 08:30hrs and the council at 14:00hrs respectively. We deeply regret the inconvenience these changes have caused.
- The Venue for the Music Camp meeting has been moved from Mundengwa to Muluse. The camp starts on 30/06/13 to 07/07/13. The fees and other requirements remain as earlier announced.
- There will be a Youth Executive meeting at 08:00hrs and Youth council at 10:00hrs at M’tendere main on 23rd June 2013. Please be in uniform as you attend these meetings and attend without fail.
- The General Conference has requested us to audit our church membership. All churches should do serious roll calls this June. At the end of this quarter June 30th 2013 we need two figures of membership per church. One which will reflect before roll call; and this is the one to be put on regular statistical report, another, an audited one showing only physically present members. We want to assess the disparity.

1. The farewell program for Pastor Faxon Shangala which was earlier on postponed to a later date shall now take place on Wednesday 1st of May 2013 at M’tendere Main Church starting at 10:00hrs. All churches and individual members should be present with their gifts. The District Music committee should arrange singing groups to provide music during this occasion.
2. Please, take note that ZBUC will conduct the "ELDERS' CERTIFICATION SEMINAR" from 1st - 6th May at Libala Church. Daily schedule: 17:00-19:30 hrs during weekdays, 13:30-17:30 hrs on Sabbath and 08:00-16:30 hrs on Sunday. ALL church elders are required to attend. Due to logistics and certification implications, each elder should pay KR5 registration fee thru their district pastor. Promote this aspect of professionalism in the Ministerial Association.
3. The District regrets to announce the death of Sister Thandi Sibindi on Wednesday night (sister to Eld Wise Sibindi the district Treasurer). The sister was a member of Kalingalinga church and singing in the King's Royal Cords Choir. Her body will be brought to Kalingalinga church on Sabbath 16:00 to accord an opportunity for body viewing to all those who may not be able to attend the burial on Sunday morning in Mungule Ten Miles where the funeral is being held. May the Lord comfort the bereaved family. "

The launch of the first edition will be on 1st December 2012.Let us pay for orders between now and 11th November 2012, the GC Communication Director Jean-Luc Lezeau will be in the country to promote the same. The promotion in Lusaka East District will be on 2nd November 2012.
- 13. The special edition of the Hope Magazine is out and is being distributed in your churches this month. See your Communication leaders in your churches for your copy, copies are few; therefore it is on first –come – first serve basis. All churches to ensure that all 8th Session delegates have a copy each.

- Crusades commence tomorrow Sunday 30th September 2012 and will run through to 20th October 2012. We are all urged to fully support the crusades. Tomorrow all are requested to assist in constructing podiums in all crusade sites, lets be there as early as 07:00hr

- Pastor’s Hospitality will be held on 4th November 2012 and not on 28th October 2012. All Churches to prepare for the event.
- 08. There will Children’s ministries council tomorrow, Sunday 28th September 2012 at M’tendere main at 09:00hrs – 10:00hrs. All Coordinators, Sabbath School Children teachers, Children Ministries Volunteers and elders in charge to attend without fail.

- Region B Master Guide Investiture will take place on 3rd November 2012 at Munali SDA Church of Munali Mission District.
In other districts, the investitures will be conducted as follows:

Region D: 20th October 2012 at Keezwa SDA Church, Keezwa Mission District
Region C: 1st December 2012 at Garden Main Church, Emmasdale Mission District

- The General conference (GC) is preparing to start producing another magazine called “HOPE FOR YOU”. This magazine will need a lot of Zambian articles. The magazine will be sold at K12, 000 per copy. People to do the selling are Pathfinders, Ambassadors and Students. The K12,000 be shared by the following people /entities : The one who will be in charge in the district ,the seller, the conference ,the union and the Division. The launch of the first edition will be on 1st December 2012.Let us pay for orders between now and 11th November 2012, the GC Communication Director Jean-Luc Lezeau will be in the country to promote the same. The promotion in Lusaka East District will be on 2nd November 2012.
NOTE: There will be conference agents who will be chosen to do the promotions. You will be notified of their names very soon. Posters will be distributed as soon as possible.

All approved singing groups in all churches are eligible to attend no auditions will be conducted. All music departments are urged to prepare their singers and ensure that their insurance is done and pass through the pastor’s office before one pays for the participation.
