OCTOBER 12 2013 DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
There will be a Dorcas meeting for all Zone, District Federation and local Church executives tomorrow Sunday 13th of October 2013 at Libala SDA Church starting at 09:00hrs. All the above mentioned to attend without fail.
Today Sabbath 12th October, 2013 is Spirit of Prophecy day in all Churches.
There will be a Youth Music fellowship tomorrow Sunday 13th October 2013 at Mtendere Main Church starting from 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs. All Youth choirs to come without fail. The participation fee is K 100.00 per choir and to be paid by 12th October 2013.
Next Sabbath 19th October 2013 will be Adventurers day in all Churches. Therefore all local Church Adventurers Directors are advised to arrange for their own preachers.
There will be an Adventurers fun day on Sunday 20th October 2013 at Dream Valley from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs. Charges are K35.00 per participant and all to carry packed lunch. NOTE all Pathfinders are welcome.
All churches should begin to prepare to attend the grand music reunion which will be held on Thursday 24th October 2013 at Mtendere Main Church.
Elder and Youth leaders are urged to continue promoting the Pathfinder Camporee which will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00. Please take note of the details that were attached to last week’s announcements; and the deadlines specified. For those wishing to have their registration deducted from the office, kindly pass through our Departmental office and log into the 2014 SID Camporee registration fee deduction authorization sheet.
There will be an end of year youth camp from 22nd - 29th December 2013 to be held in Livingstone. Churches are urged to promote this event and at least sponsor 2 youths. Participation fee is K320.00 which includes transport, food, accommodation and registration.
The Pastor’ office would like to thank all the Churches, crusade committee members and individuals who worked tirelessly to ensure that the just ended Lusaka Conference sponsored crusade was a success, resulting in 214 candidates who got baptized. We may not have any gift to give you but the Lord Himself will reward you.
The District pastor is away in Kaoma conducting a crusade for 3 weeks up to the 27th of October 2012.
