29th September Announcements

        Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   

  1.  All members to continue preparing for Great Hope project which will come to pass any time soon.
  2. There will be Adventurer’s fun day on 7th October 2012 at Adventure City. Fees: K35, 000 per child.
  3. There will be a Music camp meeting at Mundenga from 7th – 14th October 2012. The fees are K30, 000 per participant. Deadline for payments is 30th October 2012.
  4. There will be a CZC youth end of year camp at Mumbwa High School from 23rd to 30th December 2012. To attend at the camp are Ambassadors and Senior Youths only. Fees: K170, 000 registration, deadline 30th October 2012.
  5. Crusades commence tomorrow Sunday 30th September 2012 and will run through to 20th October 2012. We are all urged to fully support the crusades. Tomorrow all are requested to assist in constructing podiums in all crusade sites, lets be there as early as 07:00hr
  6. Dorcas Crafts Display will be held on 7th October, 2012 at M’tendere main in the mornin
  7. Pastor’s Hospitality will be held on 4th November 2012 and not on 28th October 2012. All Churches to prepare for the event.
  8. 08.  There will Children’s ministries council tomorrow, Sunday 28th September 2012 at M’tendere main at 09:00hrs – 10:00hrs. All Coordinators, Sabbath School Children teachers, Children Ministries Volunteers and elders in charge to attend without fail.
  9. All members are urged to continue praying for the nominating committees as well as the crusades.
    1. Region B Master Guide Investiture will take place on 3rd   November 2012 at Munali SDA Church of Munali Mission District.

           In other districts, the investitures will be conducted as follows:

          Region A:  29th September 2012 at Mukonchi SDA Church, in Mukonchi Mission District

          Region D:   20th October 2012 at Keezwa SDA Church, Keezwa Mission District

          Region C:  1st    December 2012 at Garden Main Church, Emmasdale Mission District

            NOTE: Those coming from far are to make arrangements to be at the Investiture venue on Friday. May the host arrange for accommodation, firewood and other necessities?

    1. The General conference (GC) is preparing to start producing another magazine called “HOPE FOR YOU”. This magazine will need a lot of Zambian articles. The magazine will be sold at K12, 000 per copy. People to do the selling are Pathfinders, Ambassadors and Students. The K12,000 be  shared by the following  people  /entities : The  one  who will be in charge  in the  district ,the  seller, the conference ,the union and  the Division. The launch of the first edition will be on 1st December 2012.Let us pay for orders between now and 11th November 2012, the GC Communication Director Jean-Luc   Lezeau will be in the country to promote the same. The promotion in Lusaka East  District will be on 2nd November 2012.

    NOTE: There will be conference agents who will be chosen to do the promotions. You will be notified of their names very soon. Posters will be distributed as soon as possible.

    1. We thank those who got first edition of Hope Magazine for this year. May God bless your effort .If   you haven’t paid yet, we kindly urge you to do so now. The special edition will be ready for distribution this month .Make sure all your session delegates get a copy each for it contains information they need to know. You can pay for your orders now because it is on first –come - first –serve basis, and the copies are limited.
    2. T- Shirts for the Great Hope project (Great Controversy) are ready and are on sale at Anchor house. Prices vary according to the type of T-shirt you want. Visit Anchor house for your T-shirt to be used during the distribution of books.
