Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
1. There will be An AMO council meeting on Sunday 6th of October 2013 at Mtendere Main starting at 09:00hrs. All AMO members to attend without fail.
2. There will be a spirit of prophecy day on Sabbath 12th October, 2013 in all Churches. Local Church SOP Leaders are to prepare and conduct programs on this day from morning to sunset on the same day. This is your grand opportunity to promote SOP.
3. There will be a Youth Music fellowship on Sunday 13th October 2013 at Mtendere Main Church starting from 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs. All Youth choirs to come without fail. The participation fee is K 100.00 per choir and to be paid by 12th October 2013.
4. This is to further remind all Churches that, the Adventurers day which was scheduled to take place on 5th October 2013 will now take place on Sabbath 19th October 2013. All Adventurer Directors are therefore advised to commence preparations.
5. There will be an Adventurers fun day on Sunday 20th October 2013 at Dream Valley from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs. Charges are K35.00 per participant and all to carry packed lunch.
6. The Pastor’s office is urging all Churches to be conducting vespers on Wednesday in homes and Friday at church.
7. Elder and Youth leaders are urged to continue promoting the Pathfinder Camporee which will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00. Please take note of the details that were attached to last week’s announcements; and the deadlines specified. For those wishing to have their registration deducted from the office, kindly pass through our Departmental office and log into the 2014 SID Camporee registration fee deduction authorization sheet.
8. There will be an end of year youth camp from 22nd - 29th December 2013 to be held in Livingstone. Churches are urged to promote this event and at least sponsor 2 youths. Participation fee is K320.00 which includes transport, food, accommodation and registration.
9. The Lusaka Conference sponsored crusade which is being conducted at Ibex Hill Community Grounds comes to an end today Sabbath 5/10/2013 with baptism at Mtendere Main. Churches that have candidates for baptism are requested to bring their candidates to the crusade site in the morning.
10. LEMD Churches are requested to send updated church membership to the district communication 0department via our email address communication.lusakaeastdistrict.lusaka@live.com for the update of the district website on the home page. Your quick response will be highly appreciated
