    Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

    1. There will be departmental meetings on 17th June 2012 at M’tendere Main SDA Church at 08:00hrs. The following departments will hold councils during the departmental meetings:
    • Dorcas                        – All Dorcas Workers and their elders in charge to attend to discuss Rally report and M’tendere clinic Shelter.
    • Personal Ministries – All PM leaders, Secretaries, VOP Leaders, Admin elders/elders in charge to attend.
    • A.Y                              – All members to attend. Observe time and all to be in Uniforms.
    • AMO                             - All AMO members and their elders in charge to attend to discuss Rally report and M’tendere clinic Shelter.
    • Children Ministries   – All Local Leader, Secretaries and elders in charge to attend.
    1. 2. There will be Auditions only for singing groups that were selected earlier,  tomorrow 17th June 2012 at Chelstone SDA Church.
    2. 3. 16th June, 2012  will be publishing day in all churches and preachers will be sent.
    3. 4. On 22nd June, 2012 the General Conference Secretary Dr Ng will be in Lusaka, Zambia and  23rd June 2012 will be a big Sabbath at Nkoloma Stadium where all churches in Lusaka will congregate from. After worship, all Church clerks and Admin elders to meet the GC secretary at new Government Complex conference hall.
    4. 5. All Churches to ensure that all monthly contributions to the district are remitted on time so that all activities can run efficiently and effectively. And continue preparing for the camp meeting which is just around the Conner.
    5. 6. On 16/06/12, District Sabbath School leadership will be visiting Kalikiliki SDA Church. On 30/06/12, Health Ministries Leadership will be at M’tendere main.
    6. 7. There will be CPC/Council on 24th June 2012 at M’tendere main .
    7. 8. All members are urged to continue paying for Great controversy books for great controversy project. Fees remain unchanged.
    8. 9. Ensure that all departmental reports are submitted to the district leadership during the departmental meetings.

"We will appreciate the Service of our Vibrant Soldiers" Pastor Naini (For Youth Director)

    Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

    1. All Evangelism, Personal Ministries and Publishing Leaders from all churches to meet Pastor Chimbo at M’tendere main church at 09:00hrs. Also to attend without fail are all Kalikiliki Crusade Committee leadership. The Agenda will be to discuss the coming crusade. Please observe time.
    2. 16th June, 2012 will be Publishing  day in all churches and preachers will be sent.
    3. There will be Camp Meeting promotions in all churches.
    4. All those who were picked for training in Choristering and Pianists to meet at Chelstone SDA Church at 09:00hrs.  
    5. There will be a Match Past against Women Violence tomorrow 10th June 2012, from Kabwe round about to the destination to be communicated. To participate in the match past are all Dorcas workers and Adventist Youths (all to be in uniforms).
    6.     10. There will be fishers of men training on 17th June 2012 at M’tendere main (PM program).
    11. There will be departmental meetings at M’tendere main on 17th June 2012 at 08:00hrs.

    Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

    1. will be District Family Life meeting on Sunday 03/06/12 at M'tendere main SDA church to discuss Couples Social Outing.Time: 08:00hrs. To attend are; all elders in charge of family life and all Family life leaders and their secretaries.
    2. There shall be Personal Ministries Council on Sunday 03/06/12 at M'tendere main SDA church at 09:00hrs. To attend without fail are all PM Leaders, PM secretaries, VOP Leaders, elders in charge of PM and Admin elders.
    3. Pathfinder Council will be held on Sunday 03/06/12 at M'tendere main SDA church at 08:00hrs. All Pathfinder Directors to attend and should be in uniforms.
    4. There shall be a match past against Women Violence on Sunday 10/06/12, from Kabwe Round About to a destination to be be announced soon. To participate in the match past will be all Dorcas workers and Adventist Youths, all to be in uniforms.

    Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

    1. 12th May 2012 will be Spirit of prophecy (SOP) day in all churches. All local churches to prepare and conduct the program, the district will not send preac.
    2. There shall be Children Ministries certification seminar from 20th – 26th May 2012 at Garden house. All participants to pay K300, 000.00 for registration, lodging and food throughout the whole stated period. Churches must send a representative to this important meeting or an elder if there will be none from children ministries dept.
    3. All Churches should start ordering Sabbath School study guides; Adults K18, 000 and Children K11, 000 per copy.
    4.  District departmental visits; Children ministries Leaders will be at Kalingalinga on 12th May 2012 while communication will be at Chitukuko church and District prayer band will be at Kalingalinga church doing their local church visiting the local prayer band at 17:00hrs.
    5. Two week crusades are underway in all LEMD churches and will run upto 19th May 2012 to be followed by a grand baptism on 19th May 2012.Please let us all be involved to invite people from all walks of life to attend and listen to the word of God.
    6. There will be Personal Ministries Council on 13th May 2012 at M'tendere Main church at 09:00hrs. To attend are PM Leaders, Secretaries, VOP leaders, Admin elders and elders in charge.
    7. All Ambassadors to meet at Chitukuko church to prepare for the conference debate, eassay writting and quiz on sunday 13th May 2012 and all youth music directors to meet at the same venue and date as ambassadors.
    8. There will be Epaphras ministries meeting at mtendere main at 16:00hrs on 12th May 2012. All prayer band leaders to attend.
    9. There will be a Sabbath School seminer on 13th May 2012 at M'tendere main at 09:00hrs. All Sabbath school officers to attend.

    1. 5th May 2012  will be Communication day in all churches.

    8. 28th April 2012 is district to district choir rotation . All LEMD churches will receive choirs from Kanyama Mission District.
    9. District departmental visits; Children ministries Leaders will be at Kalikiliki church today 28thApril 2012 and on 12th May they will be at Kalingalinga while communication will be at Kalingalinga today 28th April 2012.

    Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

    1.  Launching of the Zambian chapter on International Commission for Prevention against Alcohol and Drugs (ICPAD) will be from 3rd to 5th May 2012 at University church. Registration fee K100, 000 per delegate to be paid through the Union office. For more information; call 0967 111500
    2. There shall be Children Ministries certification seminar from 20th – 26th May 2012 at Garden house. All participants to pay K300, 000.00 for registration, lodging and food throughout the whole stated period. Churches must send a representative to this important meeting or an elder if there will be none from children ministries dept.
    3. 2012 Women congress starts from 15th to 21st April 2012. Registration K300, 000 per participant. All women from the age of 16 and above to attend. Theme: Revived by the power of His word, theme song; revive us again.  Ensure that 3 young women & 3 adults should come from rural districts and not less than 8 young women and 8 adults from urban districts. The district pastor and shepherdess are invited to the congress, fees to be met by their districts.

    2. 02.    All AMO members to meet at M’tendere main on Monday 9th April, 2012 at 9:00hrs to plan for union rally.
    3. 03.    There will be stewardship camp meeting promotions in all churches on 14th April 2012
    4. 04.    Pathfinder/Master Guide camporee starts on 18th – 28th April 2012 in Mbala, all those who are going, to consult their local leaders for more information.
    5. 05.    There will be a board of elders meeting on 15th April 2012.

    Announced by Communication Lusaka East District on Mar 16 2012

    1. There will be Departmental councils tomorrow 18th March 2012 at Mtendere main SDA church at 09:00hrs. All local departmental heads to attend. Youth council will also be held on the same date, venue and time.
    2. There will Spirit of prophecy (SOP) seminar tomorrow 18th March 2012 at Mtendere main SDA Church. Time 08:30hrs. To attend are all SOP leadership and their elders in charge and anyone who wants to know what spirit of prophecy is all about. Please carry your packed lunch.
    3. There will be Youth community service at Kalingalinga Police post on 25th March 2012.
    4. Pre-campaign evangelism meetings (door to door) which started on 10th  March 2012 will continue and the youth week of prayer starts today 17th March 2012 to be presided by mass baptism on 24th March 2012. All elders to lead into this program and all members to participate.
    5. All Dorcas workers to start preparing for the District Rally to be held from 22nd to 29th April 2012 at Lwimba while Union AMO Rally will be from 29th April to 5th May 2012 in Kabwe.
    6. Union Music camp meeting starts on 8th to 15th April 2012 in Ndola. Beulah land and Kings Royal cords will represent the district.
    7. All church members to continue contributing K10, 000 per person per month (120,000 per year) towards CZC building project contributions. Those who haven’t started to do so.
    8. All churches to fill the forms for pick hour attendance and submit to the district pastor’s office. Forms were distributed earlier on (every second and seventh Sabbath of every quarter – Sabbath school and main service).
    9. Funds were deposited in December 2011 and  has no documentation to back it ( K180,000 believed to be Mass media’s and K132,000 church unknown only used the district code, 10.) Please visit the pastor’s office and have this sorted out.
    10. There will be Baptism and VOP graduation on 24th March 2012. Youth week of prayer ends and all baptism candidates from both week of prayers and VOP should be ready for baptism.

  • 10TH MARCH DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

    Announced by Communication Lusaka East District on Mar 10 2012

    1. Today 10th March 2012, District Communication is visiting Mass Media SDA Church and Health Ministries is visiting Chitukuko.
    2. Pre-campaign evangelism meetings (door to door) starts today 10th – 17th March 2012 followed by the youth week of prayer which will commence on 17th March 2012 to be presided by mass baptism on 24th March 2012. All elders to lead into this program and all members to participate.
    3. On 12th March 2012, the Seventh Day Adventist world president pastor Ted N. C. Wilson arrives in Zambia
    4. All Board members are requested to meet the Adventist world president pastor Ted N. C. Wilson at New Government Office hall at 16:00hrs on 13th March 2012. Please observe time.
    5. There will be Board and Business meetings in all churches on 11th March 2012.
    6. There will be PARL and Epaphras (prayer band) seminar at M’tendere Main starting from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs. All leaders to attend.
    7. There shall be community service work at chainama on 12th March 2012; the program will be carried by AMO, A.Y and Dorcas. Time 8:00hrs.

    1. Sabbath 25th February 2012, stewardship month of emphasis comes to an end in all churches. We hope you have been revived.
    2. Sunday 26th February 2012, there shall be CZC AMO Council at City SDA Church at 09:00hrs. Please observe time.
    3. Sunday 26th February 2012 there shall be Lay Bible workers seminar at M'tendere main SDA Church. All preachers to attend. Those who want to be preachers and want to know how to conduct Bible studies are all welcome.
    4. There shall be music auditions on 4th March 2012 at Kalingalinga SDA Church. All singers should prepare for this.
    5. All elders and district departmental heads who haven't submitted their email addresses to district communication should do so as soon as possible. You can submit through: communication.lusakaeastdistrict.lusaka@live.com
    6. Sabbath 25th February 2012, district communication will be visiting Kalikiliki Church while district Sabbath School will be visiting Mapiri.

    Members are urged to continue making orders of Great Controversy copies through their churches to the CZC account with clear indication "GCP Money".

    The grace period has been extended to 31st January, 2012. The amount is only K2,500 per copy amounting to K25,000 fora minimum of  ten (10) copies per each member.

    ACCORDING to the World Church program, the Revived to revive week of prayers which started on 8th January 2012 is suppossed to end for TEN DAYS. Thus, extend the period to 17th. We should continue praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on usct.

    Let us all be revived by attending this week of prayers so that we can revive others.
