District Annoucements

Announced by Communication Lusaka East District on Mar 20 2014 

1.  The CPC and District Council will take place on Sunday the 30th of March 2014 at Mtendere Main Church starting at 08:00hrs and 14:00hrs respectively. 
 All Churches are therefore urged to prepare their quarter ending reports and ensure that all these reports are handed in to District Departmental Leaders by Wednesday the 26th of 
 March 2014 when the District Departmental councils will take place at Mtendere Main Church at 17:00hrs.

2. Today Sabbath the 22/03/14 is Adventist Youth promotion day marking the end of the Youth week of prayer with baptism at Mtendere Main Church beginning at 13:30hrs. 

3. All Churches with candidates for baptism to send them with an Elder, the Church Clerk and at least two Deacons and two Deaconesses with blankets and towels for baptism.

4. Money for Great Hope Books to be deposited together with trust funds clearly indicating “Great Hope”

5. All Admin Elders to send money for the Magazines (New Dawn) to the District Treasurer Elder Sibindi.

6. There will be a Pathfinder skills camp starting on 27th April 2014 at Kyindu Primary School in Palabana. Fees are K100 per person, registration is K40.00 and the deadline for 
 registration 18/04/14.

7. Next Sabbath 29th March 2014 will be Christian Educational day in all Churches.

8. There will be a District Master Guide class for all Youth Executive members on Sunday 30/03/14 at Mtendere Main Church starting at 16:00hrs. Please come with either lap tops 
 or flash discks to get material on soft copy.

9. The Adventist Youth Federation offering free tuitions for grades 10, 11 and 12 at Mtendere South SDA Church. The schedules shall be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 
 16hrs -1745. On Sundays, classes will begin at 08hrs. all are welcome.

10. There will also be a Youth Missionary Camp in Kyindu commencing on 9 to 18th May. Missionary volunteers are encouraged to register their interests to attend with the Youth Secretary.

11. All Churches who are running schools beginning from Nursery to Grade 12 to contact Brother S. Mutakwa (Dist Sec) for details to be send to the Conference.

12. All Churches to prepare monthly Evangelism reports and report how they are using their Sabbath school action units and submit by the 30th of every month to the Pastors Office.

13. There shall be an SID Stewardship seminar at University SDA Church from 4th to 7th April 2014. Not also that it is a joint seminar with Central Zambia Conference. All SSPC 
 Committee members to attend including Elders in charge, Trust Service Leaders and all Church Treasurers. Please carry packed lunch.

14. This serves to remind all Church Clerks and Admin Elders that the Conference Secretariat provided all the Churches with the software for uploading the new Church Membership 
 System (CMS) during the interdepartmental seminars early this year at Chainama. By the end of this quarter all churches will be expected to report on the progress of uploading names to
 this system.
