DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR JANUARY 2014 EVENTS
- There will be the 1st Lusaka Conference seminar B at Chainama SDA Church tomorrow Sunday 12/01/14 starting at 09:00hrs to 15hrs. To attend are all Sabbath School Officers and Sabbath School teachers, all Personal Ministries leaders, all VOP coordinators and elders in charge. Please carry packed lunch. Please elders ensure that the above mentioned members attend the meeting.
- There will be a Lusaka Conference Youth Leadership seminar from 24 – 26th January 2014. Local Churches are to pay K360.00 for local Church club Directors. The deadline for payment is 20/01/14
- The following singing groups were selected to go for auditioning in preparation for the city impact crusade.
(i) Kings Roayal Cords from Kalingalinga church
(ii) Beaulah Land from Mtendere Main church
(iii) Joy Bells from Hellen Kaunda church
(iv) Valley View choir from Valley View company (Chitukuko)
Elders from the churches where these groups are coming from should take note.
The Pathfinder Camporee will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). The District Executive would like to hear from the churches the preparation made so far for our Pathfinders to attend this grand event.
The Zambia Union Conference Festival of the laity will be held next year, June 24 - 28, 2014. The venue is Mulungushi International Conference Centre. Details are as follows; Registration fee is K1000 (includes lunch and dinner for 4days) As for breakfast delegates will be feeding from their respective lodging places. For the delegates who will not need lunch and dinner will be required to pay K600.00 as their registration fee. The deadline for registration fee payment is 28 February' 2014.
There will SID AMO rally in Zimbabwe (Solusi) from April 1 - 5, 2014. Payments are as follows
- Registration = US dollar 55 per person
- Accommodation = US dollar 22
- Meals = US dollar 6 per meal (3meals a day ×6 =18×5days = 90 US dollars
The deadline for payment of registration fee is 28th January 28th 2014.
The ZBUC school of Evangelism will take place from February 24 - March 2 2014 at Andrews motel in Lusaka. payments are as follows
- Registration fee : K100
- Accommodation: K950.00 sharing for the whole week and single occupancy (one person in a room) is K250 per night.
- Meals K1,300.00
The deadline for the registration fee is January 20, 2014.
Please note that those who may wish to look for their own accommodation can do so but they should let us know'
12. There will be an SID Children's ministries Leaders Convention from 12 - 15 March,2014 at Birchood Hotel in Johannesberg, South Africa. Registration fee is R3 000 (K1 800) for full board (hotel conference & meals) and R2,000 (1,150) for conference and meals only. Transport to and from Johannsberg is at the participant's expense. Deadline for registration is 31January, 2014. Those who will register after January 31 will be required to pay (late registration which is R4, 000. Those required to attend are;
(i) Children Ministries Leaders
(ii)Children's Sabbath school Leaders
(iii) Sabbath School Leaders
(iv) Pathfinder Leaders
(v) Adventurer Leaders
(vi) Family Life Leaders
(vii) Parents
