DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SABBATH DECEMBER 7, 2013
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
All Churches who wish to carryout church officers evaluation (officers ‘performance) or to add or make replacement for 2014 to please inform the District Secretariat before conducting such a program.
Today Sabbath the 7th of December 2014 is Stewardship emphasis day in all Churches.
The AMO outing to Kalimba Farm which was scheduled to take place on 24th November 2013 has now been moved to 15th December 2013 due to a crash with the Conference program. The participation fee of K60.00 and venue remain the same.
All AMO, Dorcas and AY will be going to Chainama East ward tomorrow Sunday December 8, 2013 for Community Service Programme. Time: 08Hrs.
2014 has been declared as the year of Evangelism and each Church is urged to begin spiritual preparations as you await details on how the program shall be conducted.
There will be a Pathfinder investure ceremony on Sabbath 14th December 2013 at Mass SDA church.
Next Sabbath the 14th of December 2014 will be Health emphasis day in all Churches
All Churches to conduct membership audit before 16th December 2013. The Audit should produce three lists of membership as follows;
(i) The General register with all or total membership whether present or missing.
(ii) The list or record of all members presents including those who may not be worshiping at your Church but you know where they are.
(iii) The list or record of all members who have gone missing
This information should reach the District secretariat by 16th December, 2013.
LEMD Churches are requested to send updated church membership to the district communication department via our email address communication.lusakaeastdistrict.lusaka@live.com for the update of the district website on the home page. Your quick response will be highly appreciated. Admin elders, please furnish the communication with the total membership of your churches as soon as possible. This announcement has been running for some months now and no response so far. If you cannot use the email address as indicated above, you can SMS or send the figures through 0966/0955 – 598387
Some churches have so far submitted, if you haven’t done so, please do as soon as possible.
