DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SABBATH NOVEMBER 30 2013

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

  1. All Churches who wish to carryout church officers evaluation (officers ‘performance) or to add or make replacement for 2014 to please inform the District Secretariat before conducting such a program.

 

  1. Next Sabbath the 7th of December 2014 will be Stewardship emphasis day in all Churches. The speakers have already been communicated to you.

 The AMO outing to Kalimba Farm which was scheduled to take place on 24th November 2013 has now been moved to 15th December 2013 due to a crash with the Conference program. The participation fee of K60.00 and venue remain the same.


 There will be Adventist Youth recreation at NRDC tomorrow Sunday 1st December 2013 from 08; 00hrs to 15; 00hrs. All Churches to participate without fail.


 2014 has been declared as the year of Evangelism and each Church is urged to begin spiritual preparations as you await details on how the program shall be conducted.


 There will be a seminar for all Sabbath School Superintendents, Secretaries, all Sabbath School teachers and Elders in charge at Libala SDA Church tomorrow Sunday the 1st of December 2013 from 08:30 – 13:00hrs. please carry your Sabbath School study guides and Bibles.


 All Churches to conduct membership audit before 16th December 2013. The Audit should produce three lists of membership as follows;

(i)              The General register with all or total membership whether present or missing.

(ii)            The list or record of all members presents including those who may not be worshiping at your Church but you know where they are.

(iii)          The list or record of all members who have gone missing

This information should reach the District secretariat by 16th December, 2013.

 

 LEMD Churches are requested to send updated church membership to the district communication department via our email address communication.lusakaeastdistrict.lusaka@live.com  for the update of the district website on the home page. Your quick response will be highly appreciated. Admin elders, please furnish the communication with the total membership of your churches as soon as possible.  This announcement has been running for some months now and no response so far. If you cannot use the email address as indicated above, you can SMS or send the figures through 0966/0955 – 598387

Some churches have so far submitted, if you haven’t done so, please do as soon as possible.
